Whether you just want answers to a few questions, need to negotiate a severance package, or have been terminated from employment and want to know your rights, we have the knowledge and experience to handle most employment matters.
In addition to representing employees who work for traditional companies and businesses, we also represent public sector employees, such as city, county, and state employees, as well as university, district, and municipality employees. Public sector employees must act quickly because many claims require administrative exhaustion within six months of the adverse action.
We know that legal action can sometimes be overwhelming. We are dedicated to providing you help in language that you can understand. If you don't feel like you understand your options, just ask, and we will work to find an explanation that works for you.
The first step is for us to work with you and come up with a plan to get the results you need. Through our understanding of the law and your understanding of the circumstances, we will craft a path to success.
Don't wait! Contact us and schedule a consultation. Let us help you figure out your best next steps are. The sooner you have a plan of action, the better your chances of taking the correct steps to get the results you want.
After graduating from Whittier Law School, Mr. Ahmad began practicing law in 2004. Throughout his career he has gained experience representing both employees and management. With an interest in employment matters, Mr. Ahmad ultimately became focused on representing employees. After working at traditional law firms and gaining experience prosecuting cases and managing litigation teams, he opened the Law Office of Michael Ahmad in 2019.
Mr. Ahmad has experience litigating in both state and federal court. He has handled individual, representative, and class action cases, has taken cases to trial and verdict, and has defended appeals. He is admitted to practice law in California, including California's Northern, Central, and Eastern District Federal Courts, and the United States Supreme Court.
The Law Office of Michael Ahmad maintains a modest practice with only a select number of cases at any given time. This business model allows Mr. Ahmad to vigorously prosecute each case and provide high quality work product with individualized client attention.
Sometimes, despite an adverse action, there is no legal recourse. Other times, state enforcement agencies are a better alternative to hiring an attorney. Because Mr. Ahmad accepts most cases on a contingency basis, there is a strong financial incentive to provide you with an honest assessment of your case. Mr. Ahmad will only accept your case if there is a viable legal claim.
Mr. Ahmad is a member of the California State Bar, the American Bar Association, the California Lawyers Association, and the California Employment Lawyers Association.
